The evolution of online learning began in 2002 with video2brain, an Austrian company specialising in video tutorials. Thanks to our design and engineering services it became Europe’s leading platform for educational videos and was acquired by Lynda.com in 2015 for $1.5 billion. This acquisition led to LinkedIn’s purchase of Lynda.com and the creation of LinkedIn Learning. In 2016, LinkedIn was acquired by Microsoft for $26.2 billion, and LinkedIn Learning became one of the largest online learning platforms with on-demand video courses taught by industry experts.
